The Acquisitions New York Bolection is a true classic. It may be based on a 16th-century design but this hand-carved sandstone surround works just about anywhere. Here we’ve paired it with the 18th-century-style but surprisingly modern-looking Devonshire steel hob grate – suitable for solid fuel or a coal or pebble gas fire – and a granite hearth.
